This Shipping Policy applies to all product purchases made through the Family Protection and Recreation LLC e-commerce storefront ("FPR," "we," "us," or "our"). This policy governs shipping procedures only and does not relate to membership programs, subscriptions, or access-based services.
1. SHIPPING OVERVIEW
We ship firearms, ammunition, optics, accessories, and gear in accordance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws.
Shipping availability, methods, and timelines vary depending on:
- Product type
- Manufacturer and distributor availability
- Destination state and local regulations
- FFL transfer requirements
We reserve the right to modify shipping methods or carriers to ensure legal compliance and safe delivery.
2. FIREARM SHIPPING REQUIREMENTS
2.1 FFL Transfer Required
All firearms must be shipped to a valid Federal Firearms Licensee (FFL) selected by the customer. Firearms will not be shipped directly to a residential address under any circumstances.
Customers are responsible for:
- Selecting a compliant FFL prior to checkout
- Confirming the FFL's transfer fees, hours, and procedures
- Ensuring the FFL accepts transfers from online sellers
2.2 FFL Acceptance & Processing
Firearms ship only after:
- Payment is confirmed
- FFL information is verified
- Distributor confirms availability
FFL dealers are independent entities. Family Protection and Recreation LLC is not responsible for:
- FFL transfer fees
- FFL processing timelines
- FFL refusal to transfer
- Additional state or local requirements imposed by the FFL
3. SHIPPING METHODS & TIMELINES
3.1 Order Processing
Orders typically process within 1–5 business days after payment confirmation and compliance verification.
Processing times may be extended due to:
- Distributor delays
- High-demand items
- Compliance checks
- Manufacturer restrictions
- Weather or carrier disruptions
3.2 Estimated Transit Times
Transit times vary by carrier and destination. Estimated delivery windows are not guaranteed and do not include processing time.
4. AMMUNITION, OPTICS & ACCESSORY SHIPPING
Non-firearm items may ship directly to the customer where legally permitted.
Certain products may be restricted based on state or local law, including but not limited to:
- Ammunition
- Magazines
- Magazine capacity-restricted items
- Certain firearm accessories
It is the customer's responsibility to ensure compliance with all applicable laws before placing an order.
5. SHIPPING COSTS & FEES
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on:
- Product type
- Weight and dimensions
- Destination
- Carrier requirements
Important Notes:
- Shipping fees are non-refundable
- FFL transfer fees are set by the receiving FFL and paid directly to the FFL
- Any mandatory state or local fees (e.g., background check fees where required) are disclosed separately
6. SIGNATURE & DELIVERY CONFIRMATION
Certain shipments may require:
- Adult signature upon delivery
- Government-issued ID verification
We are not responsible for packages delayed, refused, or returned due to:
- Incorrect shipping information
- Failure to accept delivery
- Carrier access restrictions
7. DAMAGED OR LOST SHIPMENTS
7.1 Carrier Damage
If your order arrives damaged:
- Note the damage on the carrier's delivery receipt (if applicable)
- Take clear photos of the packaging and contents
- Contact us within 48 hours of delivery
We will coordinate with the carrier to file a damage claim where appropriate.
7.2 Lost Shipments
If a shipment is marked "delivered" by the carrier but cannot be located, customers must contact us within 48 hours so we may initiate a carrier investigation.
8. RESTRICTED STATES & LEGAL LIMITATIONS
Some products cannot be shipped to certain states or jurisdictions due to legal restrictions. Orders placed in violation of applicable laws may be canceled.
Customers are solely responsible for knowing and complying with all laws applicable to their location.
9. INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
We do not ship firearms, ammunition, or controlled items internationally.
Certain accessories may be restricted under U.S. export control laws (ITAR/EAR). Orders violating export regulations will be canceled.
10. FORCE MAJEURE
We are not responsible for shipping delays or failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
- Natural disasters
- Carrier disruptions
- Government actions
- Supply chain interruptions
- Acts of terrorism or war
